One of the highlights of this year’s NXNE was getting to see a bunch of our favorite bands and friends all in one place with The Balconies. Dinosaur Bones, Still Life Still, Hollerado and Sandman Viper Command all performing on a downtown Toronto rooftop. Here are some photos from the couple of hours we were able to jump into the party and enjoy a couple of cold ones with our pals. Only regret: didn’t get enough shots of Mike Denby of Make Your Exit looking like a french comedian about to sneeze. See for yourself.

This Sunday, June 27, we’re off to St. Catharines to perform at S.C.E.N.E. Festival (Patrick Sheehans, 6.15 p.m.) and during the day we’ll be joining The Balconies, Clothes Make the Man, Library Voices and others at the steps of the Courthouse for “Busking for Change” to raise money for War Child Canada. It’s gonna be a blast; make your way to downtown St.Catharines on Sunday for a street party that lasts all day and all night. Details on S.C.E.N.E. Festival here

We’ve been having an incredible time at NXNE, seeing our friends like the Balconies and Gold Lake play, getting to watch Iggy and The Stooges. It’s been a great fest. We’ll have some pics up soon that we’ve taken over the past few days.
