Do you understand that this is straight ice on my abs?

You should come pull up on me again with no shirt on.

[laughs]

[slow hip hop music]

Good afternoon Vogue.

Mr. Combs has been expecting you.

[slow hip hop music]

I probably have one of the most extensive

male beauty preparation routines in the world.

First I go in the sauna for a hour.

I split it up in 30 minutes, 30 minutes.

In between those 30 minutes, I get in a ice bath.

They have this new ice cupping therapy.

And then I take a sip of DeLeon,

and I hit the red carpet,

and I'm ready to just shine and spread love.

Me and Caresha we're dating

and we're just enjoying ourselves.

And this is what comes with dating me.

You know, sometimes we gotta hit that red carpet.

I'm just happy for her cause it's her first one.

This night is really about her.

You know what I'm saying?

And I'm there as her arm candy.

[slow hip hop music]

What's up baby? [Caresha laughing]

It's game time!

You gettin' ready?

Yeah I'm gettin' ready.

[Diddy] I just wanted to thank you

and tell you how excited I am as your date.

I ain't been on a red carpet

with a woman in so long.

Okay, so what, you nervous?

[Diddy] I got butterflies.

I wouldn't call it nervous.

[Assistant] We both feelin' the same. See right here.

I got butterflies too.

[Diddy] All right, go back to doin' what you're doin'.

Stay off your phone too, ma.

Diddy like don't tell me. [machine beeping]

[Diddy] Take away from the moment.

[Caresha laughing]

[hip hop music] [associates clapping]

When I was going to the Gala,

to be honest since I was taking a break from design

and I didn't have a problem with wearing other designers.

But this year I had a problem with that.

I was like, this is the time.

The time is now.

You know, because streetwear has elevated such to a point,

because of Sean John.

Now it's time to see and feel the truth.

What does it feel like coming from the black creative mind?

June, what's the other material?

Look, look.

[June] Velvet, satin.

Velvet, satin.

Help me out.

I did this with you.

That velvet satin patent leather

Explain it with me.

Velvet satin patent leather.

There's no I in team.

That's right. [associates laughing]

We, we, we, we, we. Take over from here.

We is we.

Silk, velvet, taffeta.

We wanted to mix it up and create depth.

So we used patent leather, leather, silk.

[Diddy] Let me get a jacket on while she talkin'.

On the matte rain taffeta fabric.

[slow hip hop music]

So this one right here was Karl Lagerfeld

mixed with Andre Leon Talley.

The cape is like an ode is Andre Leon Talley.

If it wasn't for him, Sean John wouldn't have been heard.

Vogue discovered Sean John.

It's a very emotional moment, you know what I'm sayin'?

Like, cause this, fashion is our lives.

Some people think it's just an outing

coming to be dressed up.

But it's really bigger than that.

It's a statement to the world.

Like one thing I love about Diddy,

he gon' bring the energy.

Like I'm in here, all I heard is, Yo, yo, yo, yo!

I'm like, [laughs]

I love that for us.

Just two black, beautiful souls gracing the Met Gala.

Like I felt like I couldn't do it with nobody but him.

[Reporter] When you hit red carpets like,

what are you thinking when those cameras and those...

I be like, bitch get the angle. [laughs]

[slow hip hop music]

And so this right here is more streetwear.

You haven't seen any accessories!

It's about the details.

Every centimeter, every inch.

Everything needs to be as smooth as possible.

This right here, this is it y'all.

Okay, cape!

Cape! Cape! [chuckles]

[Associate] Diego you know how to do it?

Help him with this.

I don't want him bending if he doesn't have to.

Woo!

[Associates] Whoa! [clapping]

Whoa!

[piano music]

[Fans] Diddy! Diddy!

[slow hip hop music]

[slow hip hop music continues]
