[Photographer] Beautiful, Cardi!

[crowd of photographers yelling]

[door opening]

Hi, Bo.

Come get ready with me today for the Met Gala.

Come on in.

[calm music]

[Cardi B] Where are my panties?

[Kollin] Me and Cardi talk really closely

just to figure out how we can

pay tribute to Karl.

And, also highlight one of our favorite houses of all time,

Chanel.

[peaceful music]

Our inspiration to this look is just a whole Chanel,

Chanel and Karl.

It's like a little mix.

Because if you see the top, it's giving like, you know,

the infamous Karl suits with the tie,

the white collar, almost like his suit,

but not really.

And then at the bottom,

if you see the skirt,

it have the Camellias, which is the flower.

So yeah, it's just a little bit of everything.

It's like, it's representing the house of Chanel and Karl.

Karl is so infamous for his gray hair.

So, we try to do a little gray hair.

See a little gray, shine, shine, shine.

Oh, my God!

Ah, shit.

Hold on now.

Okay.

All right.

I'm in this bitch.

Every single time that I go to the Met, it's fun of course.

But it's like, I don't know,

like, after my first time going to the Met,

I always get anxiety.

And like the anxieties just grow and grow and grow.

Maybe because my looks are so spectacular

that people just expect every year

to be more amazing than the last.

And it's so hard because,

imagine like, competing with myself.

That is sickening.

It's hard.

It was kind of difficult for us actually, right?

To decide like, what would be like a,

Karl...

look.

That he will make.

Or like something that we know somebody won't do.

[Interviewer] If you could say one thing to Karl,

what would that be?

I would've told him I need a discount at the Chanel store.

And tell him that he's amazing and iconic.

Like you're really iconic.

Like you're so iconic that they're making a Met Gala.

Representing you, honoring you.

I know that he's smiling.

I feel like he's smiling and kind of like...

annoyed.

Like, I know he's like, Oh my God, I love it. It's me.

But then it's like, Oh, these looks.

They better not disappoint.

[Kollin] You look insane.

Wow.

[Crowd Member] Kollin, Cardi and everybody.

[crowd clapping and cheering]

Thank you both for coming. [blows kiss]

See you in a few.

[crowd cheering]

[peaceful music]
