Hello, I'm Brie Larson and I will be going

through my beauty routine.

Cleanser.

Two pumps, two pumps.

You might think, How is all of that gonna last in here?

It actually lasts a long time.

What I love about this is it feels like a balm.

It's not, like, super drying.

We're gonna use an eye mask.

Why? 'Cause I'm hungover.

This should sit for like 10, 15 minutes.

I'm gonna use my other favorite thing.

This is heaven to me.

I have to travel a lot for work

and so finding tricks like this that allows me

to feel like I have a bit of ritual,

taking care of myself, and it's not, like, a big lift.

It's lovely.

Okay, and that's been 10 minutes.

We are going to start the layering process.

I'm gonna be first using Decorte Liposome Serum.

While I've always had a skincare routine,

it has changed over the years, of course,

as I've gotten older.

The main thing for me was, once I started being

on longer jobs where I'm wearing,

it's not just putting the makeup on,

it's, like, the constant rubbing and touching up.

My personal routine is very, very simple.

I think just to, mostly because I'm a little lazy,

but the other part is because it allows my skin

just a bit of recharge and breathing.

So next is gonna be Decorte AQ Lotion.

It's probably more of like what we in America

would call a toner.

And I feel like the makeup stays better

when I include this step.

Before I start my whole makeup process,

I'll put on this Mario Badescu lip mask.

I'll use it also at night before I go to sleep.

Don't forget about the eyes.

The Decorte Lipsome Advanced Repair Serum.

I'm always exhausted, so I will use this as a preventative,

but it's also just I'm a creature of habit,

so I need to have routines,

so once I find products that I like,

that I feel like in particular under the eye,

I feel like you can tell pretty quickly

when something works or when it doesn't.

And so I have a lot of early mornings, working long hours,

and I don't want people to know that I'm tired.

I think people need to know

that I'm doing the impossible with ease. [laughs]

This lid you can actually use to increase the circulation.

Moisturizer.

I'm really excited for the reveal of this.

It's blue, people.

This is pretty heavy, hence why it's such just small jar

'cause you don't mean very much.

I'm going to be taking this.

It's collagen and caffeine, which is really exciting.

I have this too, so collagen water with it.

People always ask me about my workout routine.

You know, how do I do it and train so hard, whatever.

I know myself well enough to know that I,

if I'm gonna train for something,

I'm gonna go really, really hard.

I'm going to go all in.

And so, because I know that about myself,

I'm very clear about taking breaks.

Sometimes when you're doing a Marvel movie,

like the actual making of the job

is enough exercise in itself.

Like, since Captain Marvel, movement has been

so interesting to me.

It's like a new way of expressing,

a new way of telling stories.

I've been doing a lot of dance lessons,

like many hours a day of dance lessons.

I'm not good, by the way, just to be clear.

Foundation, Chantecallie, and it has sunscreen in it.

Two different shades, Nude and Glow.

Sometimes I mix them just depending

on where I'm at in my life.

I'm just getting in there with my mitts, folks.

I don't have a bunch of fancy utensils for my face.

Westman Atelier blush, which I was also use with my fingers.

So makeup, just like with anything else in my profession,

is I get to explore all these different versions of myself

through characters, which means sometimes

I'm playing characters that wear very little makeup,

sometimes it's more, sometimes it's a different time period.

And so that's allowed me to explore

what things make me feel like me

and I've learned that it just changes constantly.

With that Decorte Eye Glow Gem.

These are kind of like a combo between a powder and a cream.

It's a very interesting feeling.

I like it a lot and it stays.

This has really been, really been through it. [laughs]

Major secret with maintaining my brows

is that I don't do anything to them.

I'll pluck, like, a couple of hairs sometimes

if one, like, gets a little bit, it's too far away

from the rest, but other than that,

I don't do anything to them.

And then mascara.

Sometimes I'll use an eyelash curler,

but actually, here's a real curve ball

that you wouldn't have expected.

I got a lash lift, so it doesn't really take

that much mascara right now.

Blotting papers.

This is just to get, if I did go a little too wild

with the moisturizer, it brings it down a little bit.

Onto the lips. So this is a liquid lipstick.

More recently, I've been doing this is, like,

what looks like my one bit of effort.

Sometimes I will use this on my cheeks

if I'm driving in between meetings, whatever.

I feel like there's, like, a strange thing

that people think that, like, actors are just sitting around

and then, like, some amazing actor, like,

comes through the mist and then,

like, gives a bit of wisdom.

Like, it just doesn't really work like that.

It's without a doubt Sam Jackson is the one

that has taught me the most in terms

of how to be an effective leader

and how to stand up for myself.

Getting to work with him as many times as I had

is just the greatest gift to my life.

I truly can't believe

that he's my just best friend in my heart.

And so he's a real, real Jedi. Absolute real Jedi.

Okay, let's take this hair down.

I use this.

I've been using it to kind of get those flyaways down

but also protect them at the same time.

I prefer wigs.

It depends on the job, though.

Like if it's something that you're risking

that it's gonna look like you have a wig on

and, you know, it's a more natural look,

I have no problem, like, doing whatever.

I've burnt my hair off so many times.

For the sake of art, I don't care.

Final step, body oil.

This is normally something I'd probably do, like,

after the shower, but you don't get to see that.

So this is it.

I know it's simple, but this is how I go out in the world.

Thank you for joining me.

I hope you feel happy and safe in your body.

[blows kiss]
